1. 1975 - With the foundation of Seitz GmbH the foundation stone is laid for what would later become applied international informatics
2. 1984 – The company successfully positions DIAPROD, the standard ERP software which it developed, with medium-sized German companies
3. 1997 - Seitz GmbH is acquired by applied international informatics, at the time a wholly-owned subsidiary of leading industrial group VA TECHNOLOGIE AG
4. 1997 – Seitz GmbH is re-named applied international informatics GmbH & Co. KG, with the abbreviated form of ai informatics
5. 1998 - With the migration of the DIAPROD solution to the leading SAP technology as the basis for its SPEED solutions for specific industries, ai informatics succeeds in strengthening its profile even further on the market for medium-sized companies
6. 2005 – As a result of the acquisition of VA TECHNOLOGIE AG by Siemens AG, ai informatics becomes an independent subsidiary of the Siemens IT Solutions and Services division, and can continue its successful progress
